We bought the apartment in Mojacar at the end of 2001 after several years of holidaying in the town and viewing large quantities of ads in agency windows. We like Mojacar because it is still unspoilt with miles of secluded beaches and mountain walks within easy reach.

We wanted to buy earlier but the education of the off-spring took the priority, it was then further delayed by a couple of weddings and finally delayed by the arrival of our grandchildren.

For those that don't know where Mojacar is, its in Spain on the Costa del Almeria in the province  of Andalusia. Mojacar consists of 2 parts; there's the old Moorish hilltop village and the new town on the playa, or beach. We are in the new town situated about 200 metres from the beach. We try  to get out to Spain at least twice a year, Chris has been known to go more frequently as she gets more holiday than I do. When she gets back, she very good and hardly mentions how much she enjoyed her self at all!

Golf is now a major part of the Spanish scene and in our area we have several courses, a photograph of one of our local courses is displayed below.
